Pre-Parade Eleftheriani Youth Party

Congratulations to our Eleftheriani Youth members and their loyal friends. Last Saturday, April 17, 2010 our society organized a pre-parade party at Hudson Eatery in Manhattan, New York. We had a great turn-out even though we only had a short time to promote and prepare for this event. Everyone seemed to have a great time.
Special thanks to Panagioti Sereti the owner of the establishment who welcomed us and provided good quality food and cocktails. We also thank him for his financial contribution. The DJ was great who helped to create a great atmosphere with his selections of popular American and Greek music.
It gave us an opportunity to get together in a fine environment and have some fun. Quite a few senior members of our society also showed-up and we thank them for their support. It is exactly activities like these that keep us together and strengthen the name of our Society within our community. Many thanks to our member's friends who always show their support to the Benevolent Society of Eleftheriani.
Among others, I have to personally thank the following members for their hard effort to make this a success: Theo Barbagiannis, Xenia Thomopoulos, George Seretis and Vicky Arvanetes. Also, to Paul Kotronis for making arrangements to have our new T-Shirts available. I hate to end on a sour note, but I like to see more members trying to arrange and promote events like these. Let's not get comfortable with the passion of a few active members. We have a good team, but we must work as a team together for future successes. Thank you.
